Interior

10-30-11

Dash came out without too much difficulty.
Thank goodness there was a complete write up on the web with pictures and all the descriptions needed to get this out without much difficulty.

HVAC out. Pretty straight forward actually. Not a lot of surprises here - for a change.

Back window out!

OOPS!
I read every article and post about removing the glass.
"just push the rear window out." "It pops out easily with a little pressure."
Well, my window was in there like no tomorrow. I pushed on this following all the instructions I could find and it would NOT budge. Finally a crack happened.

I wanted to resell this at some point as I am planning a cage through the back glass, but at least I can use this for a template!

Started taking the interior out.

Here is the speedometer.

Fiero seat placeed in. Still on the Fiero track and they need to be lowered. Should be able to get at least an inch out of it, based on reading of the modifications needed.

Here are a couple of interior pics as it stands now.

This is from the barn when I picked her up.

I pulled the headliner out.

I will take some more the next time I work on her.
I also picked up some 1984 Fiero seats from a local junk yard. Eventually, they will be skinned in Mr Mike's covers.
